How To Enable Subtitles in Windows 7 Media Player 12
A usual situation for every windows 7 users when you download a new movie with a separate subtitle file (.SRT or .SUB)and try to watch it with windows media player 12.The movie loads up but you cant see the subtitles in the player.

One of the easiest way is to use another players like Gom or VLC media players but what if you opt to watch it in WMP 12 itself. All you need to do is just follow the steps given below to make your WMP 12 to play subtitles
1. Copy the downloaded movie including the subtitle file in a new folder and rename the subtitle file to the same name as that of the movie file.

2. Download and install DirectVobSub(DirectVobSub is a Directshow filter which allows you to display subtitles in Windows Media Player. It is also compatible with all Direct Show players) from the link given below

3. Open Media player and Choose the library mode.
4. Press CTRL+M to Show the menu bar.
5. Click the Play menu, point to Lyrics, Captions, and Subtitles, and then click On if Available.

6. Now whenever you play that video, you should see the subtitles near the bottom of the display window
