USB CORRUPTION FIXING!!!!!!

The pendrive users may have faced the problem of corruption due to irregular format of unsafe removal, and even i got such a error..and i went on trying many methodes to recover it..as a result this methode came out with flying colours..

The pendrive may show up as 0kb used 0kb free..

This is no longer a serious problem and u can fix it urself..

Try this..

in the start menu type cmd and right click and select run as administrator..

in the prompt c:\windows\system32>

type ..

DISKPART
LIST DISK

The hardisk and the other drives in ur computer will be displayed; select the usb drive number..

(this can be done by checking out the size of the disk) Mine is disk 2.

then type..

select disk 2
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
active
format fs=ntfs
exit

the ‘format fs=ntfs’ may take some time to complete…

make sure that the partition selected is correct, otherwise if u select the HDD disk number the entire HDD may gat formated..the screenshot of what i have done is given below, so you people may not get confused…
